Robert Stewart, MD
Robert Stewart, MD is a physician specializing in general psychiatry since 1980. The son of medical missionaries he moved from Africa to the US at the age of ten. After attaining his MD from the University of Louisville School of Medicine he did a Medicine/Surgery internship in Birmingham followed by a residency in Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center.
In the early 1980’s, Dr. Stewart helped establish the Youth Treatment Services at Our Lady of Peace Hospital. For twelve years he was the Medical Director of Baptist Hospital East’s Center for Behavioral Health. Dr. Stewart has focused on the psychiatric care of mood disorders and anxiety in the outpatient practice which he and his wife, Shari, have shared since the mid-nineties. He has spoken widely on the identification of and treatment of mood disorders.

Shari Stewart, MDiv
Shari Stewart, M.Div is a psychotherapist with over two decades of experience treating individuals and couples for a variety of emotional, relational, and spiritual issues. Shari has a BA in Religion and Education from Belmont University, a Master of Divinity and Pastoral Care from Southern Seminary, and a Doctorate from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI.
Shari specializes in the care of those suffering from depression, anxiety, infertility, and narcissistic families as well as marital and parenting issues. Her academic training, professional experience, and personal faith inform and enable her skillful therapeutic work with a wide range of people and issues. She has spoken to a variety of groups on topics including parenting, marriage, and infertility.

Rosalie Faris, Office Manager
In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Rosalie Faris is a Certified Case Manager and a Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist. She has 20 years hospital experience, having developed and managed an outpatient surgery center, a hospital-based occupational medicine program, and has broad experience in managing physician practices.
